Overview

Abuse and neglect can cause long-lasting damage to a person?s physical and emotional wellbeing which is why it?s everyone?s responsibility to protect vulnerable adults from the risk of harm. By the end of this module, you?ll have a better understanding of the principles behind safeguarding and the impact of English & Welsh legislation as well as know how to recognise the signs of abuse, how to respond to and record a disclosure of harm and how to report your concerns to the relevant authorities.
